**The** **Technical **Writer **Role**

We’re currently looking for someone to join the content development team for Qlik.dev, our developer portal. This job involves reviewing and creating content such as API specifications, tutorials and more.

**What makes this role interesting?**
- If you’re a developer looking to get into writing, or a writer who loves producing highly technical documentation, this is a role that lies between both these worlds.
- If you thrive on collaborating with other teams, we work closely with product managers, developers and the Integration Platform Management team, who run the technical infrastructure behind our portal.
- If you have ideas about how best to manage contributions from different sources both inside and outside our teams, we are reviewing many of our existing processes to welcome external contributors.

**Here’s how you’ll be making an impact**
- Ensure all public APIs are fully documented, with specifications, examples and other supporting documentation.
- Review existing content and use analytics and customer feedback to identify gaps, then work to fill them.
- Suggest process improvements, in particular as we open up our portal to external contributions.

**We’re looking for a teammate with**
- At least 4-5 years as a writer, or other relevant professional experience
- Experience of writing API-related content or other highly technical documentation
- Knowledge of Git or another version control system
- The ability to write in English to native or near native level.
