**What You'll Do**:
You will be conducting a research internship in the Criteo AI Lab supervised by researchers in Criteo and in close collaboration with Inria. In this internship, you will explore foundations of generative AI as we aim to study and improve generative models - GANs, diffusion / flow matching, consistency models - at the intersection of theory and practice. Key responsibilities include:

- study and implement state-of-the-art generative models for image generation,
- develop robust evaluation protocols for comprehensive experiments,
- explore advanced mathematical tools (including differential equations, gradient flows, and deep learning theory),
- engage in exploratory research with significant autonomy.

**Who You Are**:

- Enrolled in a Msc degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science) in a French School/University.
- Strong background in machine / deep learning and mathematics, with knowledge of computer vision and image processing.
- Familiarity with generative models, such as GANs, diffusion and consistency models, and deep learning architectures, such as CNNs and transformers.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch and / or JAX).
- Appetency for theoretical and applied scientific research.
- Good communication skills in English.
