Job description
Your job will be to design and characterize the haptic interfaces. You will be involved in both product development and R&D projects. In addition to your knowledge in wave propagation and signal processing, good electronic background will be important to conduct efficiently your missions. Your main activities will be:
- Realization of numerical design of the products/prototypes,
- Perform various (numerical and experimental) analyses on reliability, or sensitivity to mechanical tolerances or environment in particular.
- Measurement of acoustic and electrical responses of products/prototypes with dedicated equipments (impedance meter, laser vibrometer, etc.).
- Analyzing the data from the measurements to feed the measurement reports presented to the client or internal leading expert.
Profile required
You have a Master degree in Acoustics (from University or Engineering School) with (ideally but not mandatory) a first experience in a company or in a design office.
Essential knowledge:
- Mechanical engineering,
- Acoustics,
- Signal processing,
- Knowledge in electronics
- Finite element or boundary element or differential equation solution schemes.
- Mastery of a Finite Element software such as COMSOL or Ansys or Abaqus.
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power sources, arbitrary waveform generator, etc.)
- Fluent in English
- Very good physics acumen.
- Matlab

- Programming (Python and Labview especially)
