Led by Rodolphe Saadé, the CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics, serves more than 420 ports around the world on five continents. With its subsidiary CEVA Logistics, a world leader in logistics, and its air freight division CMA CGM AIR CARGO, the CMA CGM Group is continually innovating to offer its customers a complete and increasingly efficient range of new shipping, land, air and logistics solutions.

Committed to the energy transition in shipping, and a pioneer in the use of alternative fuels, the CMA CGM Group has set a target to become Net Zero Carbon by 2050.

Through the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group acts in humanitarian crises that require an emergency response by mobilizing the Group’s shipping and logistics expertise to bring humanitarian supplies around the world.

Present in 160 countries through its network of more than 400 offices and 750 warehouses, the Group employs more than 150,000 people worldwide, including 2,900 in Marseilles where its head office is located.

**THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Head of trading activities, you will be in charge of the execution and monitoring of trading operations, carry out studies mainly for the Finance Department and the Energy Department, and in support of your manager, participate in the Group's projects related to major financial asset classes (energy, foreign exchange, rates,...).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
You will be responsible for managing the Group's foreign currency positions according to the cash flow forecast, i.e. optimizing the purchase/sale of USD against all types of other currencies and setting up the Group's foreign exchange risk hedging. In this context, you will work in support of your manager to develop, secure and industrialize the data and IT tools required for the Group's foreign exchange issues and strategies.

**You will manage the investment of the Group's cash**: you will develop investment strategies based on the cash flow forecast. You will propose and monitor financial hedges on commodities. In support of your manager, you participate in the development of new financial markets for the Group such as Jet Fuel or Carbon quotas. You will also develop new relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

For all market executions, you ensure compliance with the internal procedures in force or participate in their implementation with the aim of verifying that the risks are properly monitored at Group level as well as the specific management of certain subsidiaries.

In addition, you will prepare and send out various reports related to the Group's treasury and its interest rate and exchange rate positions, as well as reports related to all the physical and financial products required by the Energy department (Bunker, LNG and Carbon quotas). In support of your manager, you will also manage the update and development of new internal and external decision support tools linked to financial data provided by our external service providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, Platt's, etc.). You will be a driving force and will submit actions and proposals in the context of managing the interest rate risk of the Group's debt and diversifying investments.

In addition, you will be in charge of issues related to the implementation of transactions with our banking partners (CSA, credit lines, onboarding of new counterparties, position management tools, etc.).

Finally, you will provide macro and micro economic monitoring by reporting multi-day market points, writing business notes and organizing risk committees for the Finance and Energy Departments.

**PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
You have at least 5 years experience in a bank or in a corporate trading room.
