Continuous Improvement Manager

We are currently looking for our Continuous Improvement Manager (F/M) based in Aubagne (France).

The Continuous Improvement Manager has the responsibility to implement and promote a continuous improvement culture within the company. With his team, he/she improves the processes (both manufacturing and support functions), making them as efficient as possible, through the deployment and use of continuous improvement tools (Industrial Methods out of the scope for the moment). The role is a key contributor to develop a Culture journey towards a World Class Manufacturing Operations.

**What you will accomplish together with us**
- Manage and develop in competence his assigned resources in an open and respectful work environment
- With the site operation team, defines the continuous improvement plan and deployment strategy in line with CI BPS & Aubagne Site roadmap
- Identifies the needs and improvement opportunities and manage the corresponding improvement projects to fulfill plant performance targets
- Promote the use of the continuous improvement tools or lean techniques
- Participate in the definition of the standards / CI packages within global CI&T network
- Support site operation team for their reporting by supporting the maintenance of Operational Performance Indicators (OPI) and Key Operational Indicators (KPI) with the support of site controller & Plant Leadership Team
- Support Site operation team in the set-up of a coherent Performance Management System (via embedded routines)
- Monitor and report the progress of the projects and ensure that the pace is maintained
- Coaches other support function managers (cross functional projects) and develop the continuous improvement culture in the company
- Train and develop the staff of the site / Build training plan / Able to lead - perform continuous improvement workshops him/herself

**What will convince us**
- Good written and spoken English
- Master's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Lean Manufacturing or equivalent
- Previous experience in developing continuous improvement culture and tools
- Able to train, coach and develop others
- Analytical, data-driven and problem-solving ability
- Planning and project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of product / process development methodology and tools
- Good knowledge of the CI tools (from 5S, visual management, Wastes identification, PDCA and other problem-solving tools to more complex tools such as VSM).
