Head of External Manufacturing

EUROAPI is a new player in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), carve out from Sanofi with the purpose of becoming a worldwide champion in API commercial and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) activities with:
- Head office in Paris- 6 European API production sites located in Brindisi (Italy), Frankfurt (Germany), Haverhill (UK), St Aubin les Elbeuf (France), Budapest (Hungary) and Vertolaye (France).- Sales and CDMO teams present in 11 countries to cover our customers in 80 countries.

We are looking for our new Head of External Manufacturing.

The Head of External Manufacturing is leading the cross funcional External Manufacturing Organisation.

He/she leads and manage External Manufacturing Organisation members and their performance set up a dynamics, define ways of working and collaboration rules

He/she leads and manage the relation and performance of assigned External Manufacturers

He/she understands the trends on the markets and the business strategy to bring the appropriate operational solutions through his/her organization.

He/she contributes to the definition of the cost reduction objectives for his/her perimeter.

He/she coordinates and deploys roadmaps (activities, processes and organization) to support Euroapi’s activity growth and to secure the supply.

He/she promotes cross-sites communication and nurtures a global mind-set among his/her network.

Key accountabilities:
- Lead all support functions assigned to the External Manufacturing Organization (e.g., quality, technical functions inc. validation, GMP, HSE and support groups inc. HR, Legal IT)- Implement best practices and encourage, support functional leads to achieve a best in class organization- Communicate objectives and achievements to stakeholders- Understand and address organizational issues by identifying areas for organizational change and by recognizing underlying problems, opportunities affecting the company such as current market trends, competition strategies or internal competing priorities- Recommend the best suitable processes and tools considering all innovative opportunities to maximize the efficiency, savings, cost reduction and customer service level.- Build and propose budget that support Euroapi’s financial objectives and drive the performance KPIs:

- Major projects required in the upcoming year
- Writing 3-5 year strategic plans
- Cost Improvement programs- Define the strategy in collaboration with the CPO mid and long term based on business needs- Manage the supplier performance and organize business reviews with key suppliers. Develop international partnerships where appropriate in relation with the company strategy.- Establish sustainable and profitable business relationships with a selection of key suppliers enabling the access to innovation, high service level and preferred conditions- Lead global risk assessment aiming to secure Euroapi’s sourcing and activities; is in charge to anticipate and implement related programs. This includes a detailed view of supplier industrial capacity and the definition of the plan to support Euroapi's demand.- Act as fully engaged so that his/her organization reaches the highest compliance and ethic level while continuously developing, with its supplier’s base, a responsible sourcing approach- Key metrics:
