Job Description
As a Project Manager (PM), you will be a key contributor in overseeing projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
The primary responsibility is to efficiently manage the development and implementation of projects, collaborating closely with departmental or cross-functional teams. The focal point is on delivering both new and existing projects/scope of supplies, particularly in the specialized domain of automated complex integrated control and security systems.
Based at our office in Paris (Voisins-le-Bretonneux), this role may involve short periodic work at client sites in France.
**Responsibilities**:
- Works together with the Project Leader and the Ops Manager defining the project execution strategy.
- Responsible for the overall success of the project, must be commercially aware of the impact to the business of the decisions will be taken on the project
- Works with Finance team, the PM is responsible for project costs control and project compliance.
- May participate in development of business team strategic plan.
- Leads the complexity of the assigned project from an overall prospective.
- Supports the Lead Engineer in managing the challenges on complex projects.
- Leads sub-contracts on project assignments.
- Frequently serves as the lead engineering interface with customer for assigned projects.
- Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction.
- Builds partnerships at a management level of the customers.
The Individual
- Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Industrial/Process automation, Informatics, Electronics) or equivalent preferred.
- Mandatory solid experience in a Project Manager role, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry.
- An experienced professional with a full understanding of the specialization area able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways.
- Good predisposition to teamwork; able to work both individually and as a supervisor within the project team.
- Ensures compliance with client specifications and exercises effective cost control.
- Fluent in French and English written and verbal is mandatory.
- Must be able and willing to travel for project meetings and coordination if required, mainly within France, with occasional international travel.
