Your goal is to **decouple the Unit's output from its headcount**. You will re-architect our legacy processes (like onboarding) into scalable automated systems, drive the adoption of AI agents, and own the strategic modeling of our Compensation policies. You are a builder who kills operational bottlenecks. **1. Process Architecture & Automation** - **Onboarding Revamp**: Redesign the offer-to-onboarding workflow. Move us away from manual checklists to a fully automated "Zero-Touch" flow (Ashby HRIS Slack IT) using low-code tools (ActivePieces). - **Low-Code Factory**: Identify manual toil across the team and ship API-based automations to remove it. **2. Compensation Strategy** _(Added via Discussion)_ - **Grid Evolution**: Own the strategic modeling for our Salary Grids. You run competitiveness checks against the market and propose evolutions to our compensation philosophy. - **Strategic Inputs**: You provide the data modeling required for budget planning and grid updates (working upstream of the operational hygiene managed by the Data Specialist). **3. AI & Knowledge Operations** - **AI Agent Factory**: Lead the creation and maintenance of internal AI agents (using Dust) to answer repetitive employee queries (e.g., "How do I expense lunch?"). - **Talent Automation**: Deploy AI enhancements for the recruiting team (auto-dispatching, screening filters) to increase hiring velocity. **Profile**: - For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B1-C1 level range. - **Product/Engineering Mindset**: You think in "flows," "edge cases," and "systems," not just tasks. You can deconstruct a messy human process and rebuild it. - **Automation Fluency**: Demonstrated expertise with low-code platforms (ActivePieces, Make, Zapier) and API connectors. - **Strategic Modeling**: You are comfortable handling sensitive, high-stakes topics like Compensation Strategy and can model financial impacts. - **AI Pragmatism**: You understand how to prompt LLMs for reliable business outputs and focus on _adoption_, ensuring the team actually uses what you build. **Perks & Benefits**: At Alan, we believe that **being in good health is a basic need**, and it starts with our employees.
