**Aventa is looking to hire an installation engineer to participate in an interconnector project in France.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
**Responsibilities and specific technical competencies**:

- Act as a technical interface with the client for document preparation.
- Act as the technical point of contact for scopes of work within the project.
- Report to the Installation Department on the outcome of meetings and technical discussions.
- Critically evaluate technical and contractual information.
- Analyze and understand customer technical challenges.
- Develop technical design solutions against client scope of work.
- Fully grasp all engineering challenges and effectively utilize engineering tools and techniques to overcome challenges as they occur.
- Develop technical procedures associated with installing cables in the offshore marine environment.
- Ensure that the engineering technical solution provision is best in class and effective with respect to cost, quality, and safety.

**Sought Profile**:
**Engineering including preparation of method statements for the following activities**:

- Burial assessment study (BAS).
- Survey works.
- Cable installation works.
- Pre-sweeping/dredging works.
- Mattress installation works.
- Trenching works.
- Cable pull-in at landfall and at offshore substation.
