Artedrone is at the forefront of developing magnetically guided intravascular microrobots, revolutionizing therapeutic interventions for neurological vascular lesions, including the most complex cases. We are a diverse, interdisciplinary team driving innovation across various aspects of our therapeutic solution, encompassing intravascular medical devices, magnetic guidance platforms, robotics, navigation planning tools, and more. Our internal expertise is complemented by collaborations with globally renowned academic and clinical teams.
Our offices are located in Paris in the BioMedTech accelerator created by Truffle Capital.
Positioned under the R&D Director, you will join our team of around ten engineers. As an R&D engineer with a system responsibility, your primary role is to investigate, innovate and enhance navigation methods tailored to different versions of our micro-robots.
In pursuit of this objective, your key missions and responsibilities encompass, though are not confined to:
- Conducting navigation tests and suggesting novel methodologies/metrics to enhance test quality,
- Analyzing the correlation between the properties of µ-robots and their navigation performance,
- Proposing advanced guidance algorithms to effectively handle varied mechanical properties of the µ-robot,
- Contributing to the development of test setups: supplying, design, verification, optimization,
- Developing comprehensive multi-physics models to enrich our navigation algorithms, including flow modeling, vascular network anatomy, and mechanical modeling of the µ-robot, among others,
- Ensuring meticulous monitoring and reporting of project execution.
Throughout these missions, you will collaborate closely with the magnetic guidance platform team.
Depending on your expertise, you may also engage in a weekly review of scientific literature and updates on topics relevant to the company's research pursuits, actively contributing to patent analysis.
**Desired Skills**:
- Multidisciplinary background: physics, biomedical, flow simulation, material
- Successful R&D project execution
- Experience with a multi-disciplinary project, preferentially in the medical field
- Experience with endovascular devices might be an asset
- Experience with R&D project in the brain might be a plus
