**PROJECT MANAGER H/F**

ESVS is the European Society for Vascular Surgery. It is a not-for-profit organisation made up of vascular specialist members throughout the world. The ESVS strives to improve vascular health for the public benefit. ESVS represents 3000 individual members in Europe. Its scientific journal, the European Journal for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (EJVES) is one of the leading publications in the field.

ESVS runs annually in a European location:

- 1 Annual Meeting gathering more than 1,500 people
- 1 online live surgery Masterclass
- 1 bi-annual Translational Spring Meeting
- regular webinars and training courses
- many Committee meetings (10-20 people)
- Governance meetings incl. Council meetings, Executive Committee meetings, Additional ad-hoc officers meetings

ESVS activities cover:

- Science (journal publications, guidelines, Vascunet)
- Education (trainings, certification, e-library, Masterclass, webinars)
- Networking & sharing experiences (annual congress, membership)

Position:
ESVS' executive office is located in Bordeaux. It is currently composed of 6 full time positions. Increase in activities require to hire two new team members, including a Project Manager.

The Project Manager’s responsibilities will be to ensure that the following scientific and educational activities of ESVS are performed efficiently, professionally and in a timely manner. The Project Manager reports to the Operations Manager. The Project Manager’s tasks include:
Committee support:

- Committees include Guidelines, EJVES Journal Editorial Board, Vascunet, EVST (European Vascular Surgeons in Training), Patient Advisory Board, e-Committee, Virtual Vascular team, European Research Hub
- Meeting preparation (agenda, logistics, finding date and time, inviting attendees, managing attendance, coordinating with Chair)
- Meeting attendance (some meetings can be held in the evening or weekends, in various European locations)
- Meeting minutes
- Committee follow-up, ensuring actions are carried out
- SOP development, update, implementation
- Support to the Chair
- Budget drafting and management
- Committee member expense reimbursement
- Marketing and communications plan development, coordination with the Community Manager for implementation
- Implementing necessary actions related to Committees
- Coordinating with other office members
- Writing project reports
- Analysing projects, making recommendations for improvements

e-library content development and publication
- Supporting Committees to develop contents, including article review, formatting, editing and publication, E-learning modules
- Contents harmonisation, contents classification, improvements of the search functionality and of the e-library

Profile:
Key qualifications and assets:

- Fluent in English (2nd language as a plus)
- Scientific education and/or experience appreciated
- Experience in project management

Job conditions:
