As a qualified and motivated naval engineer, you are joining our **_Industries team_** **, as an Industry Lead, responsible for the overall Simcenter strategy in Marine** : your role is central to providing industry insights in support of go-to-market and solution strategy.

You help our customers drive digital innovation and have a tremendous impact on their successes by defining and supporting the execution of a coherent strategy for our **_Simcenter_** portfolio dedicated to **the Marine Industry**, enhancing the value of our products to support our customers’ challenges.

**External and internal communication, as well as collaboration**, are essential in this role, since you communicate and align your strategy with all the other teams across the organization:

- You guide solution strategy by articulating industry requirements as a guidance to leadership and product teams (recommendation to product roadmaps, partner, and M&A activities), working closely with R&D and strategies teams across **_Simulation & Test Solutions_** Segment.
- You support **Go-to market teams** by developing and driving sales & marketing campaigns, including identifying target markets and companies; crafting a compelling message; building (and guiding others to build) sales and marketing collateral; and enabling field (sales & portfolio development) teams.
- You work with strategic marine customers and particularly position Siemens in higher management engagements as a digitalization partner.

**Your qualifications**

We would love to hear from you as an experienced (more than 10 years) engineer in **Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering**. Ideally, you have experience in consulting, product management, business development or sales. You can develop and drive long term business.
- You have a strong ability to find **innovative approaches** and to show initiative in overcoming challenges.
- **Thanks to your excellent communication skills in English**, you build positive relationships with your colleagues all over the world-wide organization, and you can collaborate with multi-functional teams as well as disseminate your message to people at different levels of management and technical backgrounds.

Willingness to travel globally up to 40% (when it is safe to do so) will be needed to create and maintain special relationships with your customers.
