**Role Summary**

As an Account Executive in our Commercial DACH team, you will play a crucial role in driving Mistral's adoption among digital natives (tech startups, scale-ups and unicorns) as well as more traditional mid-market sized companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals and beyond, working closely with our solutions, product, finance and legal team.

**What you will do**

**Lead Development**
- Conduct strategic outreach and warm introductions to various companies
- Convert inbound leads and product-led customers into upselling or more bespoke agreements

**Value Proposition Validation for Customers**
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to clients during the Proof of Concept (POC) phase to ensure a smooth and successful evaluation process
- Leverage successful POC outcomes to convert them into long-term, revenue-generating contracts

**Deal Management & Closing**
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to convert leads into valued customers. You will be the primary contact for external stakeholders and responsible for managing deals and aligning all stakeholders
- Handle customer negotiations end-to-end with the support of our legal and finance team

**Executive Engagement**
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, heads of innovation/AI, and other key decision-makers within target organisations
- Understand their specific challenges and needs, positioning Mistral's solution as an integral part of their strategic initiatives

**Technical Aptitude & product engagement**
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical intricacies of Mistral's product and effectively articulate its value proposition to potential clients
- Work closely with our solution and product team to address customer questions, concerns, and challenges during pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment phases

**About you**
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally involving a highly complex, technical product
- Education: Excellent academic background with a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Startup Experience: Experience at a successful, fast-growing startup, ideally in deep-tech
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills to quickly understand and navigate evolving products and steer technical discussions
- Language Skills: Fluent German & excellent English proficiency
- Soft Skills: Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
- Willing to move to Paris for at least 6 months (potentially longer, depending on business needs)
