IATE is a joint research unit (JRU) of INRA, CIRAD, SupAgro and University of Montpellier in the area of agro-polymers and emerging technologies.
It is a pleasure to inform you about our latest developments on agro-polymers and emerging technologies. Societal challenges, such as food security and a transition towards a bio-based society, serve as fuel for our creativity and new research activities.
Vos missions
**Your mission**: You will be involved in a collaborative International research
project aiming to extend the agricultural production value of two major players
**of the global bioeconomy**: EU and China, by eco-efficiently upgrading
underexploited residues into a portfolio of high added-value bio-products able
to generate new bio-based markets or to compete with, and gain market share
of, oil
- and food crops
- based equivalents. The project associating 37 partners
(half academic, half private) is financed by the European Commission (Horizon
Europe) and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. This will enable
you to interact with leading European and Chinese academic and industrial
partners.
Your task will focus on supporting the AgriLoop scientific coordination team
for collective scientific activities (events, position papers, young scientists
networks ) and on advancing with the ePOP group specific research activities
related to ecological organic materials development, depending on your profile
and willing. This last aspect will be discussed with you.

Fluent to speak and write English, and
strongly motivated to prepare scientific
papers.
**Qualifications**: PhD in process
engineering, biological, environmental,
materials, agricultural or chemicals
sciences or related fields. An
experience in life cycle analysis would
be welcome.
