Chalet Butler

We are pleased to offer a Butler position to work in Chalet Le Rocher in Val d’Isère.
Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in France, either through an EU passport or a valid Carte de Séjour.

**Role Overview**:
This is a dynamic and hands-on position, supporting the Chalet Manager and wider team in delivering an exceptional 5-star guest experience. The primary focus is on outstanding customer service, with the key aim of providing world-class hospitality and creating unforgettable moments for every guest.
As a Chalet Butler, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the front-of-house service for our guests.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Guest Liaison**: Working alongside the chef, you will liaise directly with the guests to create a dining experience specific to their requests and needs. You will need knowledge on dietary requirements and a wide scope of service styles, ensuring that each guest receives their perfect service.
- **Breakfast Service**:Preparing the dining area, warmly welcoming and seating guests, and taking orders for hot food and beverages.
- **Afternoon Tea**: Presenting a light meal comprising one sweet and one savoury item, accompanied by drinks as requested by guests.
- **Evening Service**: Leading the service of a formal dining experience, including canapés, a bespoke chef-designed menu tailored to guests’ preferences, and expertly paired wines.
- **Guest Communication**: Proactively engaging with guests to address queries and fulfil special requests promptly.
- **Colleague Support**: As the Chalet Butler, you will bring knowledge and experience that you can share with the Chalet Host team, as well as giving preservice briefings prior to the evening service.
- **Chalet Maintenance**: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the chalet manager.
- **Health & Safety**:Upholding hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
- **Supplier Relations**:Supporting and enhancing relationships with local suppliers where appropriate.
- **Driving Duties**: Providing the in-resort driving service for guests as needed.
- **Housekeeping**: Ensuring the living and dining areas are always presentable and guest ready.
- **Environmental Responsibility**: Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and actively supporting Consensio’s environmental initiatives.
