ITER is a unique, first of a kind project that aims to demonstrate the technical and scientific feasibility of fusion energy.
Jacobs one of three partners making up the Consortium MOMENTUM (construction management-as-agent contractor) is project managing the construction and assembly of more than one million components in world’s largest fusion reactor.
As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself. Join us and play a part in the international effort to make fusion a viable source of almost limitless, carbon-free energy.
Jacobs is recruiting for a Supervisor with at least 3 years of experience to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.
He/She will be responsible for:
- Follow the progress of the works and participate to the in site meetings
- Analyse the risks and ensure safety in the workplace
- Understand the construction program and propose any adjustments to the activities in order to maintain the pre-established deadlines for the delivery of the works
- Help the work coordination team for the interpretation of the work
- Manage the deliveries of the materials on site
- Communicate with the different CMA and ITER managers to obtain and pass essential information for the coordination of the different construction sites
**Please note the job offer would be based on a local French contract - this would not be an expatriate assignment.**

**Here’s What You’ll Need**: General skills**:
- Desire to expand your knowledge and take on different responsibilities on international environment
- Graduate as general Engineer or mechanical, electrical or instrumentation & control disciplines.
- Familiarity with quality control work practices
- Able to read and review installation schedules to comply with the contract terms of the works.
