Safety Reporting Coordinator

This role plays a vital part in promoting a safe and accountable working environment across Eurotunnel operations. As Safety Reporting Coordinator, you will support the investigation team by ensuring that safety events are followed up effectively and that reporting processes are clear, consistent, and accessible. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to maintain accurate records, track progress on safety actions, and contribute to continuous improvement in how safety information is managed and shared.
- Proactively monitor and follow up on safety analysis reports and ensure recommendations are actioned in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues across UK and French teams to support the completion and tracking of safety-related actions.
- Maintain and update safety event processing systems with accurate, clear, and current information.
- Develop and present safety performance indicators that support transparency and informed decision-making.
- Provide guidance and support to teams using safety reporting tools, helping to build confidence and consistency in reporting practices.
- Respond flexibly to ad hoc requests related to safety reporting, contributing to team priorities and organisational goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, escalating issues appropriately and constructively when needed.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance reporting processes and promote a culture of continuous learning and safety awareness.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Essential**:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Confident user of Microsoft 365, with strong skills in Excel for data management and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Comfortable communicating across teams and departments, with a collaborative and solution-focused approach.
- **_ Professional working proficiency in French (B1/B2 level)._**

**Desirable**:

- Familiarity with Eurotunnel operations or similar transport/infrastructure environments.
- Experience using safety or incident tracking systems such as SAP-UPES.
- An interest in continuous improvement and contributing to a positive safety culture.
