Working for Compressors Europe, the Technical Support Engineer is responsible for providing post sales field technical support on compressed air product lines for the authorized local channel partners.

This role collaborates with other functional teams i.e. Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Management and other regional Technical Support teams and enables capability between regions.

Provide high level diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities through systematic problem solving methodology to deliver high customer satisfaction and execute channel relationship and management of performances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Represent Training and Technical Support on new product development teams.
- Provide technical support for the field support organizations, both Direct and Distribution for France and NFWA
- Provide problem solving in a technical support role. Load repetitive quality / reliability issues into QRMSa
- Compile technical articles, fault trees and troubleshooting guides to make sure field personnel have access to latest updates / reference data.
- Support the development and implementation of “state-of-the -art” practices and technology and solutions to achieve operational excellence and customer support 24/7.
- Engage in New Product Development activities such as design and reliability, field trial testing / feedback, field upgrades training / technical support capability of new technology.

**Technical Skills & Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree or global regional technical equivalent.(e.g. N3)
- 5+ years’ experience in technical work environment. Experience and ability to work effectively acting on own initiative with mínimal supervision requirement.
- Planning and organizational skills with effective follow up and follow through.
- English & French language mandatory, additional languages are an advantage.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Presentation skills - customers, channel partners, internal senior management and peers.
- MS Office skills - proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word essential.
- The position requires travel both domestically and internationally including weekends as required, approx. 20% of time.
- Requires direct customer contact, needs to be confident, courteous and professional in all situations.
