Product Manager

**Description**:
We’re looking for a **Video Product Manager** to join our **Video Production squad** — a small, focused team at the heart of ScorePlay’s product.

As the Product Manager for this domain, you’ll own how ScorePlay handles video from start to finish — from **live broadcasting** to **on-demand video management**. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and users to make our video engine fast, reliable, and intuitive for everyone from sports broadcasters to digital media teams.

This is a role for someone who’s **curious, technical, and hands-on**— someone who loves spending time with users, understands how video works behind the scenes, and can translate complex workflows into clear, impactful product decisions.

**What you’ll work on**:
**Discovery & Product Strategy**
- Spend real time with users — editors, media managers, broadcasters — to understand their workflows in both live and post-production contexts.
- Identify pain points and opportunities by observing how they actually use ScorePlay in the field.
- Turn these insights into a clear product vision and roadmap for video inside ScorePlay.

**Live Ingest & Reliability**
- Define how live broadcast feeds (from production trucks, stadiums, or events) are captured and streamed into ScorePlay.
- Work with engineers to ensure performance, low latency, and high reliability through proper monitoring and fallback strategies.

**Video Processing & Transformation**
- Optimize how broadcast signals are converted into digital formats ready for editing and publishing.
- Collaborate with engineers on codecs, proxies, transcoding, and latency tradeoffs to make video flows faster and more efficient.

**Editing & Publishing Experience**
- Build intuitive, time-saving tools for editors to clip, reformat, tag, and share highlights — whether in real time or after the match.
- Focus on smooth UX and performance for professionals working under tight deadlines.

**Video Lifecycle & Media Management**
- Improve how videos are stored, indexed, searched, and distributed across ScorePlay’s Media Asset Manager (MAM).
- Ensure the system handles both live captures and large archived video libraries seamlessly.

**What we’re looking for**:

- **3+ years of Product Management experience**, owning delivery and roadmaps for technical products.
- **Experience with video products** — ideally in streaming, broadcast, post-production, or media asset management.
- **Good technical understanding** of how video works: codecs, transcoding, streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTMP), and low-latency streaming.
- Comfortable working closely with engineers and making informed tradeoffs on performance and architecture.
- Hands-on with discovery — you like to meet users, observe workflows, and turn insights into product opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in **English**:
