About Us

We are a start-up based in Munich, Madrid and in Barcelona. We were founded in Spring 2020 and two and a half years later we are now already a team of +80 super motivated ML Engineers, data scientists and developers.

Our mission is to build beautiful Artificial Intelligence products. We’re curious, passionate, and relentless in our drive to develop a truly end-to-end product, pushing the boundaries of innovation as far as we can.

**We work in two fronts**: Our product: currently used by +6000 users. Through the use of AI, enables and simplifies the core corporate finance processes (budgeting, resource allocation, what-if,). Our AI laboratories: we develop AI prototypes for our clients as part of their R&D initiatives. Our laboratories are diverse and aim to test state of the art approaches to currently unsolved business challenges

Our data science and ML hub is based in Barcelona and Madrid, we are currently a team of 45 DS & ML engineers working both from our offices or remotely. We are looking for passionate data scientists to join our mission at all the levels of seniority.

In the data science team, we encourage a fun and agile environment. We contribute to the development of the brain of our products. We work in scrum, and we develop our products in our own Python packages powered by open-source ML libraries.

Role

If you have a passion for data and technology and want to join a crew of sharp analytical minds, then this may be the right opportunity for you. As a Principal data scientist, you will get a chance to take part lead the development of features of our AI product and perform the following tasks:
Project lead of multiple initiatives (laboratories and product features)
Define data science modeling strategy and advise/revise coding approach
Lead of multidisciplinary teams of data scientists and developers
Define team priorities Lead daily stand-up meetings of your team and sprint planning sessions
Manage team capacity and agree project scopes
Ultimate responsible and QA of features and deliverables
Resolve conflicts across the functions of the team (DevOps/AI/DB/FE/BE )
Interact with our clients and understand their challenges, their data, and their needs

Qualifications / Experience

6 years of experience in data science
6 years experience with data programming/ scripting languages (Python, R, SQL).
Including package building, object-oriented programming.

**Bonus**: APIs, AWS Lambda, Step functions,
6 years experience in machine-learning methodologies (supervised /unsupervised, deep learning)
Experience leading multiple projects and multiple teams
Experience in project planning Experience in communicating technically, at a level appropriate for the audience
Ability to work in a fast pace and learn quickly
Background in data science consulting or in product development
(Bonus) Master in Data Science /Machine Learning
(Bonus) AWS Cloud experience
(Bonus) Database design/data lead
