**Role purpose**:
The role holder will be the primary and first point of contact within Chubb for regulators and consumer associations based in France, including the ACPR (which is one of Chubb’s principal regulators globally), the AFA and DGCCRF.
**Key responsabilities**:

Tracfin correspondent
Perform the role of Tracfin correspondent. Make notifications to Tracfin as required.
Regional advisory support
Horizon scanning
Conduct initial horizon scanning to identify regulatory developments which impact insurers such as Chubb. Work with Deputy General Counsel CE and Local Compliance Officer - France to determine whether developments have a regional or local impact. Where developments are material regional impact, produce impact assessments, support gap analysis work and hand across to the relevant team for implementation.

Regulatory engagement protocol
Work within the Chubb framework for managing regulatory interactions which seeks to:
proactively manage Chubb’s regulatory relationships;
develop open and transparent with Chubb’s regulators;
inform Chubb’s regulators on a timely basis of matters of which they reasonably expect notice;
meet regulatory reporting obligations;
ensure escalatation of regulatory correspondence to the appropriate governance forum or senior manager;
maintain centralised records of Chubb’s communications within regulators.

Support the provision of regular information and analysis regarding the work of the Regulatory Services team or others such as L&C Operations who contribute to ensuing that regulatory expectations are met. Support the Regional Compliance Officer and other members of the function in relation to internal reporting obligations to various forums including regional and legal entity committees, as well as Global Compliance.
France
Work closely with the Deputy General Counsel CE and Local Compliance Officer - France and Local Compliance Officer - France. Ensure they are updated on interactions with French regulators and consumer associations. Work closely on regulatory developments.
Provide support to and carry out work as directed by the Deputy Regional Compliance Officer.

Degree in law, French or European (desirable)
**Languages**:
English and French - fluent (written and spoken)
**Experience**:
They must also have an excellent understanding of the French regulatory environment.
Some knowledge and experience of other regulatory environments across EMEA would be helpful.
They should be adept at managing competing priorities with excellent time management and organisation skills.
