Product Copywriter

At Echo Analytics, we are the geospatial analytics and big data experts who give meaning to the world. We create, combine, and convert thousands of public and private datasets into meaningful geospatial insights at scale.

We are a startup less than 2 years old, with a staff of 40 people from 14 different countries and an already very strong client base

Echo partners with companies from multiple industries such as retail, mobility, smart-cities, real-estate, advertising, market-research, governments, and financial services to give them the power to innovate faster.

Tasks

The mission

Are you adept at translating complex technical ideas into clear and accurate content that can engage clients? Do you have great attention to detail? Are you an inspired storyteller and an exceptional writer?

If so, you might be a great addition to our Product team, which is focused on geospatial data, consumer behavior, and image recognition technology. We are looking for a full-time, in-person content writer who enjoys turning complex ideas into engaging pitch decks, one-pagers, objection-handlers, and a multitude of other content creation that will help our sales team pitch and present our amazing products. You will work across our 3 product lines with a core mission of keeping our sales and clients as informed and excited about or products as possible.

Main Responsilities
- Write copy across pitch decks, one-pagers, blog posts, objection handlers, user documentation, white papers, newsletters, and anything else that can help explain and engage our products
- Proofread/copy edit all content to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to company and product line standards
- Collaborate with marketing, product, executives, sales and technical teams to source and create content
- Create engaging and attractive stories to pitch our clients on future products
- All materials will be written in English (so it's a great idea to send an English CV for example, rather than a French one)

**Requirements**:
Core Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, content writing, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, English, Philosophy, or any related field that encourages good writing and rhetorical skills
- Fluent in English
- Excellent grammar and storytelling skills
- Ability to work across multiple product lines and internal partners
- Documentation skills
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Strong technical aptitude
- An interest in data, data science, data engineering, or similar technical fields
- Highly independent and self-starter
- A boatload of curiosity and a hunger to learn new things
- A portfolio that showcases writing samples (not written by ChatGPT)

Bonus qualifications
- Ability to understand and speak French
- Product Marketing experience
- Product Management experience
- Experience in big data or data science
