Our people have a high degree of responsibility. **Job Summary**: The Plant Opex manager is the facilitator of key technology and customer initiatives, with full accountability for all aspects of project management. This role reports into the Plant Manager Beaurepaire. Projects may involve capacity expansion, new system & technology implementation, process improvement and tooling. This role will manage all aspects of Operational Excellence and projects including technical, financial, operational, supply chain, sales, and commercial. Additionally, this role will lead and support the development and execution of plant operations-focused initiatives, improvements, workforce skills development, and best practices propagation. The Project Manager will be more a manager taking full responsibility of the projects instead of a pure technical engineer. With its 9 production lines, the BEAUREPAIRE plant produces around 130 M cans (aerosol cans and bottles for beverage and beauty & personal care), mainly for major key accounts in Beauty and Personnal Care market as L’Oréal. The Plant Manager reports (solid) line to the General Manager of the Business Unit and has direct control over all plant related resources respectively cost except centrally procured (bundling effect) key materials such as tinplate, aluminum, energy and lacquers. The Plant Manager collaborates with BU Sales (Business Unit sales organization serving all plants of the respective BU) and the Global Key Account Organization. There are not plant dedicated Sales Managers/’Plant Sales’, but it is the Plant Manager’s decision to target the optimized cost price per SKU. **PURPOSE OF THE JOB** The **Plant OPEX Manager** is an important driving factor during the transformation. He is responsible in getting employees to adopt to the new operating models and ways of working to become best in class in our industry and strive to Operational Excellence to be a role model of Trivium Manufacturing Excellence. Creating an operational excellence culture in the sector by implementing and communicating the Trivium Manufacturing Excellence strategy including identifying improvement opportunities, coaching and train employees to support achieving the sector KPI’s. **Job Duties**: - Collaborates closely with project teams or local/sector leadership to develop project business case and scope. Project proposals include scope of work, timelines, labor requirements, cost, and economic return on investment. - Prepare and present detailed analysis including project budgets, schedules, ROI analysis, and forecasts. - Follow-up on all the initiatives by sub-owners in timeline and actions to be realized. - Prepare, submit, and support project-related Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) - Prepare and execute Special Manufacturing Authorizations (production trials). - Understand and develop process routing information required to support manufacturing enterprise system requirements (SAP) - Manage cross-functional teams and report on project team progress to include schedule, cost, action items, risk, and risk remediation. - Generates Scope of Supply documents and works closely with Purchasing Manager in negotiating capital purchases. - Manage and forecast of associated project capital spending compared to budgeted costs. - Presents multiple solutions when presenting project options. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Make analysis of the total difference between current performance and the ideal scenario - Identify room for improvement and improvement potential per loss category - Support the analysis and reporting on the adoption and/or
