**Context**:
Veesion is experiencing rapid growth following its successful Series B funding round. This expansion phase requires strengthening our technical foundation and scaling our development capabilities to meet increasing market demands.

As we structure our growing team, we're seeking a Senior Python Developer to play a pivotal role in a dynamic environment where they can make a significant impact on both our technology stack and team culture during this exciting growth phase.

Reporting to the Head Of Engineering, working together with a strong team spirit and driven by the confidence that Veesion is on track to revolutionize the retail industry.

**Your Mission**:

- Take ownership in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable architectures.
- **Ensure** adherence to best coding practices, performing **rigorous code reviews**, and encouraging other developers.
- **Play a part in decision-making** processes and effectively communicate technical choices to the team.
- Participate in **team alignment** by defending ideas and fostering a strong technical culture.
- Optimize and architect database solutions using PostgreSQL, including SQL query optimization.
- Along with Tech Lead Python, **implement, monitor and animate** the best software craftsmanship learning practices.

**You’re a Great Match If**:

- You have a **minimum of 5 years** of professional experience in software development.
- You are an expert in **Python.**:

- You have a strong understanding of **database architectures**, particularly PostgreSQL.
- You are comfortable designing SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
- You excel in technical leadership, making informed decisions, and executing them efficiently.
- You know how to **advocate for best practices** and inspire developers to follow them.

**Recruitment Process**:

- **Screening Interview** - HR initial discussion (30 mn).
- **Archi & Practices Interview** - meet **Tanguy**, Head of Data & **Christophe**, Lead Dev for a deep dive into your experience and skills (1h00).
- **Technical Test** - complete a take-home challenge (4h max).
- **Restitution** - review your solution with our team (1h15).
- **Onsite cultural interview** with **Pierre**, our CTO and other colleagues (1h00).
