Transport & Logistic Commodity Buyer (M/F)

**Description of the job**:
- Our future **Transport & Logistic commodity buyer**will be responsible to define and organize the sourcing of Logistic & Transportation for Verkor entities.
- You will be responsible to define the Commodity Strategy jointly with the Stakeholders and Management for the entire Verkor existing entities (VIC, Giga Factories). The strategy of logistic commodity will be linked to Verkor ambition to ensure, competitive decarbonized transportation of its Production equipment, Raw Material and Finish goods, according our Clients and Projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize the logistics flows in CO2, Quality, Cost & Lead Time,
- The defined strategy should be aligned to the current and future needs of the businesses,
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives,
- Be a key business partner inside our Team Project and Operation to manage the reliability of the best transportation sourcing options for Verkor entities (full scope of commodities: raw material, components, equipment for manufacturing, MRO, industrial supplies) coming from Asia, strong interaction with the entire Sourcing & Supply chain Teams. Key interaction with our plants supply chain leaders in order to support them in their projects,
- Manage relationship with the main Transportation (Air-Sea-Road), Warehousing and Customs Clearence vendors,
- Lead vendors selection, manage relationship, negotiate & contractualize (Source to Contract),
- Be pro-active partner to organize our Machine Equipment appropriate transportation strategy from Asia until our GigaFactory in Dunkirk (Transport, Custom clearance, Storage) end to end approach to ensure GF program delivery on time,
- Develop and maintain category expertise supporting our Key Stakeholders and Recommended suppliers (Supplier Orientation Chart) fostering collaboration for our future Projects. Bring Market intelligence and cost breakdown expertise to the other categories (like raw material) in order they can optimize the transport, customs etc.,
- Lead your activity with P&L approach and KPI’s : OTD,
- Extented multi categories experience as Facilities-Services-Industrial supplies in Buyer role would be appreciated, in a context of fast track project.
**Requirements**:
- Justified at minimum 3 years of experience as Category Buyer Transport & Logistic in different International industries
- Ideally Master Degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement Management
- High knowledge in Logistic processes, Planning, Transport and Customs. Warehousing and Digitalization would be appreciated. End to End processes
- Consulting, benchmark with other industry is nice to have
- Good relationship management and excellent communication skills
