Server (Waiter/Waitress) — Opening Team
Full-time, Permanent (CDI) - ~42.5h/week
Paris 16th — Rue Lauriston, near Arc de Triomphe
Join the opening team at Le Vieux Crapaud — a human-sized bistro serving classic French bourgeois cuisine with carefully sourced grower wines. Warm, respectful culture. Simple standards, executed to a high level. Opening September 2025.
What you’ll do
- Clear tables, deliver dishes, reset and keep the room sharp
- Help with mise en place, care of the dining room, and end-of-shift cleaning
- Work closely with both floor and kitchen — one team, one service
- Bring reliability, energy, and good vibes to the room
What you bring
- Beginners welcome if motivated, involved, and people-oriented
- Punctual, present, and able to keep a steady service rhythm
- Genuine desire to learn and to serve well
- Minimum 1-year commitment (we’re building a stable team)
Schedule & conditions
- Permanent (CDI) - about 42.5h/week (typically 39-43h, up to 45h if you want)
- Typical shifts:
- Lunch 10:30-14:30 (meal break 11:00-11:30)
- Dinner 18:30-23:30 (adjusted together to match service pace)
- Monday to Friday only — weekends always off
- Fair tip pool shared across floor, kitchen, and dish team
- Closed at Christmas and in August
- Staff meals, supportive environment, human-scale team
