If this sounds like a work environment in which you want to evolve, we have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Expert within the Engineering department.
You are responsible for providing a product and technical expertise that meets the levels of quality, safety and security requirements required by the company. You are responsible for carrying out part of a project and respond transversely to the Project Manager who coordinates all activities.
You will have to travel to participate in qualification trials or provide support to on-site operations.
**Your responsibilities and daily life will be**:
- Be the technical reference for the design/development/repair/qualification and commissioning of heat exchangers, or other equipment for use on a nuclear site.
- Ensure the technological watch and be a force of proposal for the improvement of our systems.
- Meet customer requirements, regulations and building codes
- Track supplies and receipts at subcontractors of non-standard parts required for operations
- Assist operational teams for hardware issues or defects in applicable procedures, as well as in the resolution of problems during their on-site interventions.
- Lead the technical resolution of such issues.
- Conduct technical meetings (study meetings, feedback from experience,...) with the customer, suppliers and the notified body/ASN.
- Guarantee the definition of maintenance plans for the given services.
- Depending on your overall workload, you may have to work on different engineering projects simultaneously.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Graduate of a MSc or Engineer oriented Mechanical or equivalent.
- You have minimum 7 years of experience in sizing heat exchangers for thermo-hydraulic and mechanical issues and in manufacturing of these for the power generation, petroleum or chemical industry.
- You master office tools (Excel, Word) and specialized calculation and design software.
- You have a fluent level of English and French both written and spoken, which allows you to exchange with the various actors of the project but also with the headquarters of the group based in the United States.
- 7+ years in Heat exchanger design and fabrication.
