**Job Description**: After 3 years of a R&D only team, the company is entering a new era. Fundraising, creation of the business departments, product launchingNeoplants is experiencing a switch. And you, as our new Head of People, will work closely with the founders to ensure the success of it at an HR level. Directly attached to the leadership, you will position yourself as a true partner of the members of the Management Committee and the operational teams. You will be the main contact for anything related to HR and will be involved in the strategic discussions at a global level. You will have a direct impact on the company. This transversal role will be built around several pillars of responsibilities: **Culture & Company level** - Develop the long-term HR strategy, and improve existing policies - Propose improvements to all our internal HR processes, including the implementation of new tools, documentation and internal communication - Implement performance management tools for all those processes (dashboards, KPI monitoring, etc.) - Report to leadership - Organize corporate events - Work on the employer branding **Talent Acquisition** - Be the owner of all the recruitment process and set/improve the right tools (ATS) - Work closely with agencies to recruit our new talents for the R&D teams - Support the managers recruiting for their teams - Take part of the recruitment process by running "Culture & Management" interviews - Handle international recruitment and help foreigners obtain all their documents to start working with us - Launch recruitment campaigns through the relevant channels **People Operations & Admin** - Review all our processes and payroll software to make sure they follow legal obligations - Answer the team's questions on anything HR related - Support the Head of Business Operations regarding the payslip process - Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and relevant legal updates - Manage the Works council (CSE) **People Development** - Help the collaborators develop their skills through trainings and workshops - Support the managers in the development of their teams and in their own management - Handle people working remotely in a "face-to-face culture" - Strive to create the best possible employee experience When you arrive in the company you will have the opportunity to hire an apprentice to support you on the day-to-day work **Requirements**: Minimum requirements: - Have >5 years of experience working as an HR generalist in a company or a startup - Fluent written and spoken english (internal comm in english) - Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - Have conflict management experience - Be able to handle strategy as well as hands-on operational work - Be very agile, adaptable and solution-oriented - Show a very high level of autonomy and productivity - Have a very strong drive to do impactful and meaningful work - Be able to work in a challenging environment and understand the challenges of a startup - Be closely aligned with the company's mission and committed to building a better working environment Nice to have: - Experience with US labor law What we offer - A competitive compensation package - The possibility of occasional remote work - The perspective to build your own HR team - Significant budget allocated to HR initiatives - An unfailing support of the founders - Have a direct impact on the decisions at a company level - Start Date: December 1st - Based between Paris (Station F) and Saint-Ouen (The Seed)
