**Start** **ASAP** **Duration** **> 12 months** Start Date: ASAP Duration: 1 year Minimum Location: Paris, France **Summary**: The primary function of the Senior Mainframe Security Engineer is to maintain and enhance the security posture of the organization's IT infrastructure, specifically utilizing IBM Mainframe Z Series technology. This role is crucial for identifying potential security risks and developing effective strategies for remediation. **Main Responsibilities**: - Conduct regular security assessments of the IBM Mainframe Z Series infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.- Perform detailed assessments of security configurations to identify vulnerabilities.- Coordinate incident response and investigation relevant to IBM Mainframe Z Series.- Provide security guidance and support specific to IBM Mainframe Z Series.- Implement security controls for new systems and projects within this architecture.- Contribute to security awareness training for employees and contractors.- Proactively identify security threats and recommend actions to mitigate risks.- Stay updated on the latest security threats and recommend changes to enhance security posture. **Key Requirements**: - Proven expertise in computer science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT security operations related to IBM Mainframe Z Series.- Expertise with IBM Mainframe security tools (e.g., RACF, zSecure, etc.).- Knowledge of IBM Mainframe security standards (e.g., z/OS Security, etc.).- Experience with RACF report building in zSecure.- Comprehension of IBM Mainframe Z Series network protocols and operating systems.- Relevant security certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Administrator - Security z/OS) would be a plus.- Fluent in French and English mandatory.
