**Position Summary**

Within the Science team and reporting to the Senior Director of R&D, the Senior R&D Manager is leading the strategy and execution of formulation projects, from initial specifications to product launch and driving cross-functional strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead new product development and formula optimization projects for Prose hyper-personalized products.
- Co-lead algorithm design in collaboration with the AI team.
- Collaborate effectively with the Operations team to optimize procurement, manufacturing, and quality processes.
- Co-develop the scientific communication strategy for ingredients and formulations.
- Proactively takes initiatives and proposes innovative ideas, engaging with internal teams (R&D, Open-Innovation, Scientific Affairs, Data analysis, AI, Operations, Tech and Marketing).
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the R&D Roadmap.
- Lead cross-functional projects aiming at improving customer satisfaction.
- Promote scientific and product knowledge within the R&D team and across Prose.
- Actively participate in the recruitment, assessment, and development of R&D team members.
- Technical Mentoring of R&D Project Leaders and management of R&D Interns
- Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Agro, Pharmacy
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in face make-up product formulation, other experiences in skincare, lip make up and fragrance development are a plus
- Ability to manage and deliver high complexity projects on time, while coordinating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a strong sense of collaboration and team spirit.
- Recognized as a strong leader within their area of expertise.
- Able to work both in French and in English in a multicultural environment.
- Highly adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with openness to expanding technical expertise across additional cosmetic categories.
- Passionate about science and innovation, with a keen interest in AI and emerging technologies, and the ability to embrace and understand early-stage advancements.
