**Purchasing CSR & Transformation Senior Manager (F/M)**

- In this position, the Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant will work under the management of the VP Group Purchasing.**Responsibilities And Tasks**:

- The Group CSR & Transformation Purchasing (Senior) Manager will be in charge of:
- Carbon reduction plan with our suppliers, in line with Nexans's commitment to contribute to carbon neutrality by 2030:
- analysis of the CO2 emissions, mapping opportunities by Category, defining the reduction plan,
- mobilizing teams and suppliers to collect EPDs (Environmental Product Declaration) and CO2 footprint, inspiring suppliers to reduce their CO2 emissions.
- KPIs: Supplier coverage, tons of C02 reduction, % of recycled content
- analysis of the CO2 emissions, mapping opportunities by Category, defining and monitoring the reduction plan
- mobilizing teams and suppliers to collect EPDs (Environmental Product Declaration) and CO2 footprint, inspiring suppliers to reduce their CO2 emissions
- KPIs: Supplier coverage, tons of C02 reduction, % of recycled content
- Duty of care with Suppliers:
- Nexans identification and control of the potential CSR risks
- Suppliers compliance with CSR principles and relevant regulations (Human rights, Environmental and Ethical)
- Substances related high risks (ex: PFAS) action plan monitoring (alternatives, audits,)
- Supplier risk mapping, process transversal management and KPI monitoring (including # suppliers' CSR scorecards, # Nexans CSR Charters, # Supplier CSR audits, compliance to Conflict Minerals laws)
- Transformation of the Purchasing function in order to upgrade Nexans Purchasing CSR & Sustainability ambitions, decision making process and expected deliverables from Suppliers in the context of our E3 model enhancement- Anticipation of legislation, customer needs, market and available capabilities / technologies
- Best practices’ benchmark (external & internal)
- Vision and 2026-2030 step-by-step strategy
- CO2 budget and setting-up of Purchasing teams’ objectives
- Strengthening and simplification of the duty of care process
- Requirements from Suppliers (EPD, SBTi,) and decision making process for key categories (in cooperation with Purchasing Portfolio Directors)
- Contribution to the Function digital roadmap (ex: E3 decision tool, dashboards, suppliers’ CSR data structuring & management)
- Purchasing community skills developments as well as promotion of exchanges and best practices’ sharing across BGs and sites

- What We Are Looking For:
- Speaks fluently English
- Master in Engineering or Business complemented by either Purchasing or/and CSR education
- 10+ years of experience in the industry, including 5+ years in Purchasing
- CSR & Sustainability acumen (LCA / EPD, CSRD, Iso 20400, circular economy,) and strong interest
- Mobile, able to travel if/when required
- Strong leadership in a global and complex environment, especially change and transversal management
- Makes quick and clear decisions that can involve difficult choices
- Takes initiative, act with confidence, assumes responsibility for projects for which he/she is responsible
