**Job Description**:
Mattel is looking for a Senior Analyst - Business Analytics, who will have a pivotal role in supporting the French business and be an outstanding addition to a growing insights team across EMEA

In this role you will have a passion for bringing our vast data streams together to surface insight that drives action for marketing, sales and the broader French business. You will provide meaningful analysis enabling teams to take fast data driven decisions, ensuring high quality execution and driving business towards a more customer centric mindset. You will be the lead for the French market on all stakeholder facing tools, while engaging a broad range of teams to provide solutions that make our data work better.

We're looking for someone with a burning passion for data, enjoys working with broad datasets and bringing the insight to the attention of key stakeholders across the EMEA region.

**What Your Impact Will Be**:

- Be the go-to person for Insights in the French business, connecting the French commercial business with the broader insights organization
- Drive actionable insight into the French Sales, Marketing and Commercial organization to stimulate sales growth, maximize profit and market share and mitigate risk
- Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management. Ability to automate reports through Tableau would be desirable.
- Presenting insights to wide groups of stakeholders both internal, and external as required.
- Proactively interrogate external data and insights resources to contextualize Mattel performance and inform and challenge key stakeholders
- Support and Advise Marketing and Sales Teams with insight related to pricing, promotional mechanics, media performance, ranging and different consumption models.
- Create ad hoc reports and analysis supporting on going business with finding relevant information and building relevant insights
- Highly audience aware and engaged, equally able to consolidate large quantities of data and insight into short form hard hitting content as with getting into highly granular depths of detail.
- Lead category and customer specific insights projects leveraging internal, external, agency and project sourced data sources to build out compelling and engaging business presentations.
- Ability to present and engage wide groups of stakeholders both internal, and external at all levels of seniority

**Qualifications**:
**What We’re Looking For**:

- Bachelors/Masters in Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in the **business analytics/consumer insight **type roles
- Strong knowledge of data design tools (**Tableau **preferred**)** - Ability to lead thinking on data and dashboard design and upskill others in the team over time.
- Strong proficiency in full **Microsoft** suite of products (**Excel**)
- Database tools (Google Big Query, Datalakes, Multilayered datasets) experience an advantage
- Experience in use of Tableau and Commerce Cloud (**B2B/B2C**) an advantage
- Experience in a similar, seasonal, fast paced manufacturing / distribution organization. Alternatively retailing.
- Committed & driven to high levels of performance
- Be able to demonstrate thought leadership from past roles
- Strong analytical and **problem solving skills** and confident to recommend innovative solutions and actions.
- Strong organizational skills / ability to prioritize - able to take the lead on topics and bring people along.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Prior international work experience highly desirable
- Fluency in** French and **English** (spoken/written)
