**About the opportunity**:
The newly created role of **Planning Manager (Europe)** reports to T&G's European Varietal Development Manager and will manage supply and demand planning for T&G's apple crop in the Europe region. Key responsibilities include:
- Seasonal management of supply and demand planning for T&G Europe's growers, packers, and sales agents.
- Analyse crop data to determine storage and packing forecasts and sales volume
- Manage fruit inventory, balancing capacity constraints and minimising storage time
- Create revenue opportunities by minimising supply chain costs and optimising crop value
- Integrate new planning tools and processes into production and sales planning
**About you**:
We're seeking a fruit industry expert who can demonstrate experience in the following key areas:
- Supply and demand planning, logistics, procurement and/or sales experience in the fruit industry, ideally the apple category
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across growing, packing and sales
- Ability to find solutions to complex logístical challenges.
- Continuous improvement mindset
