**Purpose of the position**: to assist the Site leader and Regional EHS Resource in the missions in order to achieve the objective of zero injuries by implementing the applicable Corteva EHS&S Standards and complying with French EHS&S Regulations for France Commercial and Admin organizations.

**Your Challenge**

Main mission:

- Implement a sustainable development approach at the Guyancourt sites and France Commercial teams in accordance with the Corteva EHS&S Standards.
- The topics to be addressed during the mission are (not exhaustive):

- Implementation of EHS Management System aligned with the French EHS Law
- Implementation of the applicable EHS&S Corteva Standards
- Health and safety impact of the company
- The tools and procedures to be used will be at the discretion of the assistant in agreement with the tutor:

- Guides, collections of good practice
- European Directives...

Secondary missions:
Risk analysis:

- Risk assessment of existing and new activities
- Presentation of progress to Guyancourt leadership team and France Commercial Leadership team: sharing implementation plans, tracking of compliance, reporting issues and areas of concerns, requesting support to the leadership teams,.

Assessment of requirements:

- Evaluation of France EHS&S laws: The first step is to i. If necessary, the text must be identify the applicable law in order to establish the requirements, identify those already met by the company and define an action plan to ensure compliance with others.
- Implementation of Corteva Programs. The same applies to the evaluation of new Corteva Standards but concerns the internal requirements of the group. Translation of standards from English to French in case of update or new program.

Formation:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and Corteva training requirements:

- Train staff on the training modules indicated by the consultant
- Create missing modules as needed
- Organize the schedule of training courses assigned by the consultant, convene the stagiaires
- Participation in the creation of e-learning modules
- Validation of training matrices in support with the person in charge of recruitment

Operational control:

- Document legal risk assessment for working positions (Commercial and Admin)
- Implement required assessments at the workstations (brightness, noise, ergonomics,...), creation of an action plan if necessary, communication to the management of the site
- Participate in the drafting and implementation of action plans
- Update of various process documentation, updating of procedures, work instructions, plans.

Audits:

- Implement Safety Observation and self assessments at the site:

- Observation of behaviors using an audit sheet, recognition of good behavior, correction of dangerous behavior. Specific training
- Self Assessments: Develop the system and participate in the self assessments for the different departments. Document finding and tracking action to completion
- Corteva Audits: responding to the actions of non-conformities
- Subcontractor and external company: monitor and audit external companies acting on our behalf
- Verification of the site's firefighting facilities

Emergency Response:

- Develop an Emergency Response plan according to French Law and Corteva requirements
- Implement and deliver Emergency Response training for the affected works
- Coordinate emergency drills

Driving Safety:

- Develop a sustainable system for drivers classification according Corteva requirements
- Support tracking to compliance of the annual driving Safety trainings/courses

Communication:

- Creation of materials as needed to send to the people concerned

**Report to**:EHS&S Regional Resource

**Work schedule**:35h week, adaptable according to the needs of the activities (normal or staggered days)

**Displacement**: possibility of moving to internal sites
