**Commitment**:
The IT Support Technician plays a crucial role in the IT team by supporting the implementation of the Head of IT's global vision to improve the company's infrastructure and operations. This includes tasks such as network deployment, server installation, and configuration. The IT Support Technician will also act as Level 2 support for the IT-related components of the company’s product, contributing to seamless internal and external operations with limited involvement in direct customer interactions.

The IT Support Technician will report directly to the Head of IT.

**The IT Support Technician is accountable for**:
Infrastructure Deployment and Maintenance:

- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems.
- Configuring and deploying servers, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
- Monitoring and improving the performance, security, and reliability of IT systems.

Support and Troubleshooting:

- Acting as Level 2 support for IT-related components of the company’s product.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in collaboration with other IT team members.
- Responding promptly to system alerts and incidents, ensuring mínimal downtime.

Operational Improvements:

- Implementing improvements to IT operations, aligned with the strategic vision of the Head of IT.
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades and ensuring the compatibility of all systems with industry standards and best practices.

Security and Compliance:

- Demonstrating a strong security mindset by adhering to and implementing basic security best practices in daily operations.
- Contributing to the safeguarding of company data and infrastructure against potential vulnerabilities.
- Assisting in the enforcement of security protocols and standards across all IT systems.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintaining accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Reporting regularly to the Head of IT on infrastructure performance and improvement projects.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

**Skills & qualifications**:
Hard skills:

- Strong knowledge of Linux systems (multiple distributions).
- Proficiency in Docker and containerization technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with server deployment and system configuration.

Soft skills:

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Adaptability to rapidly evolving technologies and environments.

Pay: 22,000.00€ - 26,000.00€ per year
