**Title and Summary**
Director, TECH Regulatory Execution
The Technology Regulatory Lead will support the Vice President, Program Management, to ensure that Mastercard maintains the appropriate level of oversight, controls, and risk management across all its technology businesses in the region. This role involves active participation in governance meetings, and reporting for both internal stakeholders and external entities such as regulators and central banks.
Role
Regulatory Oversight and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory expectations and changes.
- Lead Regulatory audits
- Implement and monitor controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage technology-related risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of controls.
Governance and Reporting:
- Organize and participate in governance meetings to discuss regulatory and risk management issues.
- Prepare and present reports to internal stakeholders, including senior management and the board of directors.
- Liaise with external regulators and central banks, providing necessary documentation and reports.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a cohesive approach to regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Act as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
Crisis management:
- Lead the tech team during a crisis moment
- Identify & managed the appropriate follow up
