**P**OSITION IN THE**O**RGANIZATION**

**The Project Quality Engineer reports functionally to the Project Quality Manager and operationally to the Project Managers of the projects to which is delegated.**

**T**ASKS**A**ND**R**ESPONSIBILITIES**

**Quality Assurance and Control**:
- **Ensure specialist support for documents review (QCP/ITP, NDT procedures, FAT procedures, etc.).**:

- **Perform or supervise inspections and tests in compliance with QCP/ITP in tight coordination with the project team;**:

- **Ensure timely issuance of inspection reports in parallel with the physical activities.**:

- **Issue Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) and Punch Lists in case of not satisfactory inspections.**:

- **Participate in mechanical completion walk-downs organised by the Site Manager.**:

- **Support the production of Quality Record Books (QRB)for manufacturing and construction activities, and perform reviews respecting the schedule.**

**Expediting**:

- **Define and coordinate the required expediting tasks for all placed purchase orders.**:

- **Perform regular visits to Contractor’s premises to verify the progress of off-Site activities or review corrective actions.**:

- **Maintain logs with deadlines, progress, and shipping status of materials and equipment and review the status with the project team;**:

- **Produce clear and concise reports of visits to off-Site Contractor’s premises.**

- **Other project team members: Project Planners, HSE Advisors, Engineers,;**:

- **Contractors’ personnel**

**Q**UALIFICATION**, C**OMPETENCE AND**E**XPERIENCE**

**Degree and experience**:

- **University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.**:

- **At least 5 years' experience in a QC role for industrial projects (bioenergy, energy, chemicals, water/waste treatment) in an EPC, EPCM, or Contractor organization, preferably on an international scale.**:

- **Experience abroad and/or working within multicultural teams.**

**Qualifications**:

- **A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential is required.**

**Languages**:

- **Ability to work in English and in the local language, interacting with international teams.**

**Skills**:

- **High attention to details and sense of rigor;**:

- **Software for project management tools (MS Excel, MS Project/Planner, Power BI);**:

- **Initiative skills, with a result-oriented drive and a “never give up” attitude;**:

- **Good ability to adapt, resolve problems, and take decision;**:

- **High sense of teamwork and cultural sensitivity.
