This opportunity brings you to decision Support the CEMEA Executive (supporting the CEMEA CFO and Executive Board) as well as coordinating and delivering the CEMEA Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis and related projects.

CEMEA consists of 4 operating business units: France, South Africa, Austria and Middle East/North Africa. Each unit has their own targets and objectives but CEMEA aims to leverage shared resources, technology and best practices where possible. CEMEA reports results to LexisNexis Group monthly and plans are updated 3 times a year. The CEMEA Executive Board is based in Paris and consists of CEO, Strategy/Business Development, Finance, HR, Legal and Technology positions.

The fundamental elements of this role include.- Coordinating and performing monthly finance reviews- Reviewing and monitoring risk and opportunities to achieve targets of each business unit and provide summarized view of this to CEMEA Executive and LNLP Group- Serving as a business partner within CEMEA and creating various ad-hoc analysis generated for the CEMEA group.- Overseeing the financial planning process. Creating the timetable to deliver these plans (RF2, Strategy, RF3, Prelim Budget and Final Budget). Performing review of initial plans and provide feedback to ensure that plans are robust and based on specific driver-based assumptions and targeted actions. Be able to summarise key findings to CEMEA executive and LNLP Group.- Responsible for Middle East business unit monthly finance reporting and reviews. Putting in place business processes and improving the reporting accuracy. Responsible for the compliance and controls over financial reporting. Providing additional Finance Decision Support for the Middle East business unit as it continues to develop and grow.- Supporting Business Development and M&A activity across CEMEA, including owning business case builds.- Liaising with Group Finance and Business Unit teams to share best practices and to manage any change processes. This role is a key go to person for the Global Finance FP&A team, the VP Corporate Finance as well as to communicate key updates on Financial Reporting and Planning tools and processes.- Coordinating the financial system maintenance process across the CEMEA group.- Operating as a team player, able to effectively establish strong working relationships across all levels and functions of the organization.- Possessing influencing and communication skills, presence and depth to operate effectively with senior management across a culturally and operationally diverse organization.- Must be highly motivated with the capacity to work under pressure to tight deadlines

We’re Looking For:
- An experienced professional with a demonstrated track record of developing Key Performance Indicators & Metrics Reporting coming from a commercial senior finance position preferably in a leading global corporation- Someone graduated from a top Business School with a minimum of 8 to 9 overall years of experience.- Someone with previous exposure to Corporate office - particularly in relation to consolidations and global systems- Fluent in English / French both verbally and written- Having used and worked on Business Intelligence and Forecasting tools deployment.- A commercial awareness astute having collaborated with Partners to meet Customer needs- A collaborator who can challenge the Status Quo, drive delivery, lead with integrity, energize, communicate and share openly knowledge and expertise.- A key enabler to share best practice and to coordinate CEMEA wide initiatives
