**As the use of real-world data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) continue expand within pharma/biotech and life-sciences more broadly, we continue to invest in building more data and analytics capabilities to improve internal decision-making and healthcare research. As part of the medical transformation at Ipsen, the Data & Insights Generation and Strategy (DIGS) team is responsible to provide expertise and capabilities to increase internal competencies related to RWE as well as equip the Global Medical organization with analytic tools that will improve data-driven decision-making.**:
**By joining the Data & Insights Generation and Strategy team, you will be developing data and analytic tools to support IEGPs development by leveraging licensed and internally generated data. These data will be in both structured and unstructured formats and will require different analytic and data science methodologies in order to maximize the utility of these data.**:
**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
- Leverage AI/ML, mathematical and statistical modeling/programming skills to develop solutions that create a competitive advantage for our Medical organization (e.g. to automate manual tasks).
- Be responsible for the full solution architecture cycle: identification & definition of business questions / opportunities, data acquisition & preparation, model implementation & optimization, and method of deployment to the consuming system or team.
- Maintain / improve already developed interactive web pages and/or dashboards and/or web apps developed within DIGS team to enhance their use and adoption within the organization.
- Collaborate with matrix teams (sales, marketing, IT, external vendors, etc.) to ensure effective and efficient deployment of capabilities.
- Actively seek out, develop, and share best practices.
- Stay abreast of the evolving technical landscape, and remain current on the major data science libraries / stack.
- Incentivize and pursue continuous improvement of existing capabilities and skills.

**Knowledge, abilities & experience**

**Education**:
Currently undertaking a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data analytics / Data Science or Engineering.

Languages:
Comfortable working both in French and in English.

**Key Technical Competencies Required**

Comfortable with Python and/or R programming and with Databricks under Azure environment.

Experience with data visualization tools (R-Shiny, Power BI and/or Tableau), web design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript or equivalent).

Proficient in SQL/noSQL database creation and management (API building & web-scraping is a plus).

Comfortable working within Microsoft environment globally & its integrated solutions (e.g. Power App, Power Automate).

Knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical industry and real-world data is a plus.
