Join us as a Trading and Portfolio Management Vice President
- You’ll support the underwriting and management of risk within the NatWest Markets Private Financing Business
- This role will support senior members of the Trading & Portfolio Management team in Paris and London and work closely with origination staff
- This is a highly visible and collaborative role providing the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across a number of different product areas

**What you'll do**:
In this new role, you’ll be responsible for the diversified leveraged loan portfolio and diversified risk participation portfolio at NatWest. You’ll support the senior members of the Trading & Portfolio Management team in both Paris and London to underwrite and manage risk within the NatWest Markets Private Financing Business.

You’ll also:

- Work closely with colleagues in the Chief Operating Office (COO) and credit risk to ensure adherence to sector and country limits
- Assist with portfolio analysis and ad-hoc requests for multiple work streams
- Work with origination to investigate and understand changes in the credit quality of portfolio counterparties

**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for someone who has a broad understanding of lending products, with proven experience of leveraged finance and investment grade portfolio management. You’ll also be educated to degree level or have equivalent qualifications, and it would be highly advantageous if you have exceptional Excel skills with previous VBA experience.

You'll also have:

- Experience of credit analysis and credit approval processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to identify and summarise risks and opportunities
- Experience of financial modelling, quantitative, and data skills
