Senior Cloud Software Developer

- You will work closely with product managers/product owners, scrum masters/release train engineers, AI/data scientists, data engineers, AI developers.
- You will be involved in all aspects of entire customer lifecycle starting from ideation to creation & operationalising the solution. You play a key role to overall team’s success. You proudly present our team and solutions to stakeholders and act as team ambassador.

**Responsibilities / Core Tasks**:

- Design, code and test new product features by following agile development practices
- Ensure high code quality via code reviews, automated testing and usage of modern technology patterns
- Take over technical responsibility for individual software components
- Demonstrate excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles
- Plans, facilitate and lead workshops
- Contribute to team’s winning plan, present success story in Quarterly Business Review and report success back to higher level of organization

- Bachelor‘s or master’s degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering or related technical fields
- Minimum of 3 years experience with JavaScript UI Development Frameworks (e.g., SAP UI5, Angular, Vue.js) and Server-Side API Development Frameworks (e.g., Java Spring Boot)
- Hands-on experience building cloud solutions using common architecture patterns (eg REST, Event Driven, Microservices)
- Practical knowledge with cloud runtimes; (eg SAP BTP Cloud Foundry or Microsoft Azure)
- Practical knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools
- Strong Knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes and Docker
- Python development at professional level is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Data & Analytics Product portfolio is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English, incl. ability to communicate complex concepts in simple form to non-technical audience
- Solid understanding of agile team practice & methods such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
- Experience in leading teams as functional/technical leader
