**About Us**:
Neoplantsis an early stage biotech start-up working on the first generation of bioengineered plants to fight air pollution. Indoor air pollution is up to 5 times higher than it is outdoors due to a specific type of pollutants called VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) which are constantly emitted from the many things we have indoors (paints on the walls, pieces of furniture, household products). Since we spend 90% of our time indoors, chronic exposure to this pollution leads to major health issues (asthma, allergies, cancers) and results in huge drops in productivity.

We create plants that can effectively capture and “recycle” these pollutants to purify the air in your home. Further down the road, our technology will be used to tackle other big challenges such as carbon capture, pursuing our company mission which is to _have a positive and scalable impact in the world, by putting Nature at the heart of product innovation_. **Community & Social Media Manager **(Permanent position)

As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for growing our existing social media channels and setting-up further ones, while telling the Neoplants story across. You will work directly with the CEO and Marketing Lead to define and execute our social media strategy, making sure we are always true to our values but also experimenting and exploring new ways to engage with our community. Social is a central part of the way we want to start interacting with our future customers and we want you to be in charge of how we do that. If you are hands-on, obsessed with social trends, results-oriented and want to work on a meaningful mission, then this role is for you.

**Scope of position**:

- Responsible for all content planning, delivery & execution and community engagement managed by the team, ensuring content marketing best practice and flawless execution.
- Craft best-in-class social media content to achieve both reach and engagement.
- Lead the creation of social-first content across channels and ensure brand visual and tone of voice consistency.
- Create and produce social media assets in-house and in collaboration with external partners, working closely with creatives.
- Responsible for the planning, production and day-to-day management of the social media content plan, with experience running engaging community-led channels
- Implement and use a range of social media tools and analytics to gain insight and understanding into how our content performs and what our audience thinks, and then use that knowledge to shape future content production. You’ll create regular reports to present back to the wider team.
- Identify key trends, cultural moments and come up with original content ideas for existing and future platforms.
- Identify partners, collaborators and content creators that can help amplify our social presence.

**Minimum requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in Social Media & Content Marketing.
- English native speaker
- Experience in a creative role within Social Media, with extensive experience in content development.
- Social Media experience within the lifestyle or retail industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and current events globally.
- Experience with art direction and content production.
- Ability to develop creative output based on reporting and past performance.
- Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Video editing softwares.
- Experience with a range of social media tools and analytics to gain insight and understanding into how our content performs and what our audience thinks.
- Proven track record of working across the Social Media landscape - including content optimisation for platform algorithms, building and engaging communities, social listening and reporting.
- Planning and execution of socially-led campaigns, and an understanding of the latest technologies impacting key global platforms.
- Strategic thinker, you can confidently interpret business & marketing requirements, using social insights to develop specific social strategies and briefs.

**Nice to have**:

- Worked on the launch of a direct-to-consumer physical product in the US
- Early-stage (pre-launch) startup experience
