We are looking for a **Business Unit Manager Transport for H.Essers France** (the current TFMO).

**YOUR CHALLENGES**

In the role of Business Unit Manager, you are responsible for the transport entity in France which you expand both nationally and internationally. You hold a key position within an environment of transport customers. Together with the Business Unit Director, you translate the vision into concrete objectives. You are financially, operationally and commercially responsible for the results and success of this business unit.

What does this mean concretely?
- Based on your logistics expertise and strategic insight, you draw up the strategic business unit annual plan. Hereby you consider the returns and optimizations within the business unit, and you know how to translate these into concrete executable action plans
- As Business Unit Manager, you develop and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance
- Building a long-term relationship with our customers is your priority. Expanding your network and strengthening our market position is also key
- You detect commercial opportunities on the market, both nationally and internationally (Spain, Italy, Switserland )
- As a real people manager, you lead a team of managers in which you act as facilitator and coach to achieve personal and professional growth
- In addition, you attach importance to innovation and sustainable development which you know how to convey to the different layers inside and outside your operations
- Finally, as Business Unit Manager you are responsible for conducting budget meetings, motivating investment proposals, determining the financial feasibility of investments, preparing an annual budget regarding turnover, manpower, Gross and Net Profit, among other things
- In this role, you will report to the Business Unit Director in Belgium
