The mission

VINCI Concessions is seeking a Data Scientist in order to leverage the Artificial Intelligence to improve or develop solutions in smart infrastructure, passenger experience and flow management.

Main missions:

- Detect emerging trends that can inspire VINCI Concessions’ businesses and markets, relying on the use of Artificial Intelligence.
- Follow one specific project (computer vision, NLP, time series ).
- Conduct written and verbal presentations to share insights and recommendations.
- Execute descriptive and predictive analyses to deliver valuable insights.
- Eventually, train and fine-tune machine learning and AI models.
- Select machine learning and AI models for predictive maintenance, marketing recommendation, risk model, depending on the use case.
- Build decision-making models and propose solutions for business problems.

The expected profile:

- Autonomous, creative, interested in VINCI Concessions’ businesses, innovation and new technologies.
- Entrepreneurial, curious and innovation-oriented mindset.
- Master’s degree quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics or econometrics, economics, physics or any related field).
- Knowledge in machine learning and statistical learning.
- Skills in Python, SQL or related.
- Overall knowledge of the data science domains (e.g. [un]supervised learning, explainable artificial intelligence, econometrics, deep learning, Natural Language Processing, time series forecasting, computer vision, deployment and/or optimization).
- Ability to speak publicly and value VINCI Concessions Innovation activities.
- Fluency in English in addition to your mother tongue.
