We're excited to open a brand-new studio in Annecy, a beautiful city nestled in the French Alps, perfect for fostering creativity. As part of Madbox, our Annecy studio is built on the same foundational pillars as our other game studios: creativity, collaboration, and innovation. We're seeking passionate mobile game enthusiasts to join our core team, where you'll have significant ownership and a huge impact on shaping our projects. You'll collaborate with former members of the team behind _Pocket Champs_, our first casual hit, helping to build something extraordinary from the ground up.

As a **Senior Game Developer,**your mission will be to create innovative gameplays and to push them to scale so it could be the next hit of tomorrow. Working in a small team of experienced developers, designers, and artists, you’ll help bring our creative visions to life while developing your own skills.

**Y**our future responsibilities and scope**:

- Develop gameplay features with the scaling of the game in mind, including coding, testing, and debugging.
- Write clean, efficient, and self explanatory code.
- As a game maker, create and iterate on innovative prototypes with scalability in mind.
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to help create cohesive and engaging game experiences.
- Support and contribute to new ideas or gameplay improvement.

**The profile we are looking for**:

- Proven ability to deliver high-quality systems quickly and efficiently, without while remaining agile.
- Have clean coding principles in mind and an ability to write sustainable systems.
- Be a true game maker, have a sense of game feel, and be passionate about making games.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong knowledge in Unity including UI, 3D, Addressables and Optimisation for Mobile.
- A true appetite for AI, an experience using Claude for code generation is a big plus.
- Understanding of other game development disciplines, including Design and Art.
- Humble and transparent posture, able to give and receive constructive feedback across all areas.
- Passion for mobile games.
- Nice to have: Experience manipulating Shaders and FXs in Unity is a big plus.
- Nice to have: Previous experience in scaling a mobile game.
