**Summary / Role Purpose**:
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the documentation operations activities of one or more software product lines and supporting infrastructures. In this role, the Senior DevOps Engineer will use advanced technical and problem-solving skills to help the teams tackle complex development issues to support the Developer Ecosystem (DevEco) including the automation of CI/CD pipelines.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with other Development, DevOps, and Documentation teams to implement and maintain complex documentation infrastructure issues
- Performs research and delivers solutions to automate content delivery pipelines
- Performs debug and testing actions on documentation processes, tools, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
- Responsibilities may involve managing and integrating content from open-source third-party documentation sources
- Maintenance of tools, infrastructure, and publishing environment for the Dev Ecosystem
- Employs best practices and helps to maintain them through content reviews and quality assurance checks

**Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience**:

- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing, Information Design/Architecture, or related field with 5 years’ experience, MS with 3 years’ experience
- At least 2 years of experience with documentation version control systems (e.g., git) and collaboration platforms such as Azure DevOps

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and package management solutions for streamlined build and deployment processes
- Thorough knowledge of documentation tools, compilers, and publishing software
- Passion for crafting robust and efficient automated documentation build systems
- Very strong scripting skills (Python and other languages)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (K8s)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and able to propose improvements in the workflow
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with exposure to modern JavaScript framework
