International Underwriter

**What you do**

Global Underwriting Governance & Global Account Underwriting mission is to promote the profitable growth of the Travel line of business focusing on global or Pan European clients / business opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Global Underwriting Governance & Global Account Underwriting, liaising with the Sales teams and Allianz Partners Business Units all over the world, you will be responsible for the underwriting and technical coordination of the business with international clients, either from the Travel or the Bank and Insurance markets.

You will be responsible for:

- Underwriting and renewing international clients
- Coordination of price centrally and local quotations for international clients including, but not limited to, the customization of the pricing tool according to product, Freedom of Service for the EU and specific requirements
- Drafting global technical offers with the teams involved
- Supporting sales teams negotiating with business partners
- Following up legal and tax issues liaising with HQ Legal Department and Allianz Global Assistance Europe
- Improving underwriting tools & methods

**What you bring**
- Demonstrated professional experience in P&C insurance (ideally in travel insurance), with specialization in underwriting, pricing, portfolio monitoring, first experience in international environment
- Practical use and knowledge of statistical tools and/or finance techniques
- Fluent English, project management and logical thinking skills
- Proactivity, service and client orientation
- Talent for negotiation
