**Profile: Satellite Data Applications for Earth Observation and Navigation**

ISU is the sole university worldwide devoted entirely to space education since 1987. It is made up of a unique network around the world with a Central Campus in Strasbourg (France), with hubs in the USA and the Asia-Pacific region, and partnerships with leading space organizations worldwide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Curriculum planning in coordination with the ISU Master’s Program Team
- Teaching in the field of Satellite Data Applications related to the Master’s Program and in other ISU programs, as necessary (e.g., Executive Space Course, Space Studies Program).
- Mentoring and serving as an Academic Advisor to students of the Master’s Program
- Setting and evaluation of assignments/exams and assessment of student work
- Supervision of Master’s Thesis Projects
- Contribution to/supervision of Master’s Program Team Projects
- Participation in other tasks related to ISU academic activities

Qualifications:

- PhD in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching at a graduate level curriculum
- Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed, journal articles, books, or conference papers related to space
- Excellent knowledge of English (ISU’s official language of instruction)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ability to adapt teaching pedagogy to the knowledge of each individual and class
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with researchers from diverse backgrounds, to be innovative, and to see tasks through to completion
- Experience in curriculum and assessment design
- Experience in academic research
- Experience working with interdisciplinary, intercultural, and international teams or organizations
- Proficiency in programming languages and data analysis tools
- Proven ability to secure research funding
