Food Applications Technologist F/M/D - Your Future Role?
Technicien / Ingénieur d’Applications Agroalimentaire F/H
6 month contract

We are looking for a Food Applications Technologist based in Avignon, for a 6-month contract.

As a Technologist, you will need to work well with a cross-functional team, providing excellent service in terms of concept development, sample delivery, product presentations, and process support.
The technologist combines food values and science and ensures he/she is well informed on the changes and developments related to R&D and that his/her knowledge is up-to-date within the context of new developments/legislation changes, etc.

Reporting directly to the natural ingredients technical manager based in Avignon, the Food Applications Technologist will support all the ranges of natural ingredients from a technological point of view and will therefore be leading:

- Product validation in end-products
- Development of food prototypes
- Rolling-out knowledge in the different sales regional organization

The main areas of focus will be preservation, texturizers, colors, and botanical extracts.

The job is based in Avignon.
This position requires traveling to France and other countries, if necessary for training and business support.

**Your profile includes**:

- a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Science or related discipline;
- 2-3+ years of professional experience;
- Fluent English (read and written, spoken a plus);
- Practical, pragmatic, results-oriented.
