DeepOcean Africa is recruiting a ROV Mobile Technician You proved your abilities to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems ? You speak fluent french & english ? Join our team to ensure the technical assistance on ROV’s fleet with the help of ROV Technical Superintendent to ensure an excellent service to internals and externals customers.
The ROV Mobile Service Technician will provide technical assistance and maintenance for DeepOcean's fleet of ROV systems. Reporting directly to the DeepOcean Africa (DOAF) Operations Manager, the role ensures optimal functionality of ROV equipment and works closely with the ROV Technical Superintendent. This highly mobile role requires regular visits to various systems and operational sites to deliver exceptional service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
The role is ideally based in Sète Office in South of France with regular travel to DeepOcean Africa worksites.
Key Tasks
Provide technical support for ROV systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting onshore and offshore.
Conduct scheduled maintenance visits and prepare detailed reports on technical interventions.
Perform system audits to ensure compliance with IMCA R006 standards and company policies.
Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and team members to address operational issues and improve performance.
Maintain system records and support technical tenders with input and documentation.

Education, Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
Diploma in a relevant technical field or specialized training in ROV systems.
French & English spoken languages
Proven hands-on experience with Kystdesign ROV systems, Schilling robotic arms, and troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Practical knowledge of offshore or subsea environments.
Familiarity with technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and supplier liaison for issue resolution.
